You are familiar with hand locking threads, a simple means of attaching a tag, for example. They are made of halogen-free Polyamide 6.6, flammability UL 94V-2, usable in temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. The recommended temperature for storage of the ties is 20-25°C, for assembly a temperature of 10°C to 30°C is recommended. The tapes are supplied in a sealed package with 3-5% humidity to maintain the ideal flexibility of the polyamide, once the package is opened the tapes lose their flexibility and become brittle.
