HIPROSILTAPE®

Tape made of “self-fusing” silicone rubber

Hiprosiltape is specially designed to adhere to surfaces.

It is used to seal the ends of Hiprojacket, Hiprotape, connectors, hoses,

or cables. It prevents the ingress of oils or water by capillary action

between the glass fibers, thus preventing the deterioration of insulation

properties. It can also be used for repairs and joining parts of Hiprojacket

or for making waterproof closures of irregular insulation

shapes. The product remains non-sticky to the touch, is flame-resistant,

and provides an excellent alternative to clamps or other sealing

materials. The tape fuses into a single inseparable layer after 24 hours

at room temperature.

Material and construction:

Construction: Unreinforced silicone rubber tape, self-fusing and ideal for sealing.

Jacket specification: Halogen-free silicone rubber. Excellent resistance to oils and is

self-extinguishing.

Temperature: -55°C to +260°C (continuous)

Color: red and black (other colors available on request)
