The knitted insulation sleeve made of glass fiber is coated with acrylic (saturated), which increases the stiffness and abrasion resistance of the product, and also reduces the likelihood of fraying ends. Thanks to this stiffness, the Thermojacket S product is easy to use on longer hoses or cables, and the large knitting angle allows the insulation sleeve to be significantly expanded if necessary (e.g., for connecting links or larger cable joints). The material resists most acids, alkalis, bleaches, and solvents. In the field of cable protection, a complete program of Anaconda connectors is available, characterized by their simplicity and easy installation. Thermojacket S is not resistant to molten metal particles like Hiprojacket, but it offers good thermal protection at higher constant temperatures. It is most commonly used as thermal insulation to protect cables or hoses in the glass and ceramic industry, steel mills, and in the manufacture of machinery and equipment.
